Hamed Bartawi
Carrying a Legacy Forward
Hamed Bartawi is the Group CEO of Bartawi Group and the son of its founder, the late Eng. Atalla Hussain Bartawi. An accomplished Emirati entrepreneur, Hamed grew up with the company's values embedded in his character — and has spent his career not just preserving that legacy, but evolving it.
His leadership was tested most profoundly during the COVID-19 pandemic. While the construction and real estate sectors faced unprecedented disruption globally, Hamed steered the Group through the storm with strategic clarity — securing cash flow, maintaining tenant relationships, and ensuring zero operational failure across all divisions. The Group emerged from that period stronger and more diversified than before.
Hamed is recognised for his sharp negotiation skills, consistently securing favourable agreements with tenants, contractors, and partners. He is equally known for his drive to modernise — leading the adoption of technology across the Group's contracting operations, including bespoke software solutions that improve project delivery and internal efficiency.
At his core, Hamed leads with the same philosophy his father instilled in every project: do the right thing, do it well, and do it on time.
